This is a piece I created for the Tasty Exhibition for Appetite 2013. Mine and my neighbours garden is full of Pigeon's snatching what seeds and scraps they can, they always seem to be in full force, now and then we get a lovely blackbird.
The pattern of the Pigeons were inspired by textile patterns from the fifties and my favourite artist Charley Harper who creates the most simplistic yet perfectly balanced graphic compositions.
